Good News

Melissa and I just got back from the doctor, and the good news is that she doesn't need a cast or surgery! He said that the bone fragment is so small that we don't have to worry about it. The bad news is that it started snowing. I really hope that Mel doesn't slip on the sidewalk with her crutches and hurt her other ankle.

Ick! I was hoping that the last time it snowed would be the last for the season. It is getting a little late. I am so happy to hear that Mel's ankle isn't more serious... she could just carry a backpack of salt around and spread it around in front of her wherever she goes... or hire someone else to do it ;) Just kidding.

Yea! No cast! No bone fragment! So, Jared, are you going to carry Mel around campus on your back? It would be good marathon training and she's a heck of a lot better than an iPod to listen to and a lot lighter than a backpack, I'm sure. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
