I Got Hit By A Ghost!!!

Today I need some AAA batteries for my calculator, so I stopped by Albertson's. It was a very quick stop, just in and out. I got into the Tracer and saw that the car in front of me was over the line. I thought to myself, "I sure hope that he didn't hit the Tracer." I started backing up, and the possessed Neon Highline rolled forward after me. I tried to back up quickly, but it clipped me as I tried to get out of the way. Then it kept on driving. It kept turning and ran into a vending machine in front of Albertsons. I was shocked. I got out of the car, and went to go look at the other car. I looked into it, and was surprised to see that no one was in the car. Now I already knew that there was no one in the Neon, but I had forgotten it. Usually I don't see cars driving themselves into walls. I expected that some druken person had done it. No, it was the demon car.

There was another lady who saw it all happen, Glenda Smith, so I wrote down her name and phone number. Then we just stood there looking at the possessed car that just crashed into me and then a building. I wasn't sure what to do, so I went inside Albersons, and told them that I had just been hit by a car, but no one was driving it. They were a little confused until they saw the Neon crashed into the wall. The manager went in to page the owner of the Neon, and it turned out to be an Albertson's Associate. He was still in training. Bad day at work. I got all of his insurance info, and he apologized many times. It turned out that his break had failed. This was the second time that it had happened. Now I am in the process of letting him decide whether he wants to file a claim with his insurance or just pay us directly. I personally think that he needs to call Ghost Busters to zap that demon car.

I got a quote for $584.78, and now we will see what the other guy and his insurance company says.

That's gotta be a story they'll tell around the insurance company campfires. Glad you were okay and no one was hurt (well, except for the Tracer).

Do ghosts carry insurance?

You should tell the Albertsons guy that you've decided to just take care of the damage yourself since he was obviously just having a bad day. Then tell him yeah right and sue the pants off of him.

Crazy! You could add some money for mental health care to the lawsuit.... being hit by what you thought was a ghost freaked you out so badly... you will never be the same... I am sure in our court system that would be worth a few million... well maybe only a few hundred thousand.
