The term is drawing to an end. This has been a couple of stressful months for me, but it is almost over. Melissa is getting ready to graduate, and that is exciting. I am register for my capstone project next year. It finally feels like I am getting close to graduation. I have decided that I really enjoy thermodynamics and fluids, so I want to look for a job that deals with thermo-fluids. I will probably work for 2 or 3 years and then try to go to graduate school. I am for sure going back into the reserves (probably into the Navy). Melissa is letting me go back, and for that she gets a very big say on what branch.
Right now I am really wanting a baby. We go through phases. The nice thing is that once Melissa graduates and starts working, then we can afford to go to a real infertility doctor. I am also really looking forward to getting a house after we are both done with school. Then we can start taking the foster care classes again. I get upset when I hear of parents beating their kids or abandoning them. Just give us the child! We'll love them and take care of them. I think the hardest thing for me is trusting God's timetable.

The wait is excruciating. I spent 4.5 years thinking I may never be able to be a mom and it almost killed me. But once you get one (which you will!!) it's all worth it. It does make me crazy how all those teenagers get babies the second they even hold hands while the rest of us married folks would do anything for a kid and have such trouble. If anyone deserves one though, it's you two. There's a plan in store for your family - keep up the faith!
Thanks Sarah! The nice thing is that we are able to babysit lots of kids in our ward, and the new parents are so sleep deprived that they are anxious to let us hold their babies for a little while. I just wish that we lived closer to all of our nieces and nephews.
It definitely is you two who deserve it... you will be super duper parents when the time comes! We wish you guys lived closer too! Seth sure does think you guys are awesome!
