We're Baaaaack!

Okay-so, long time no write, yes? well, forgive me! Anyway, we are now in Houston, TEXAS. Everything is going well--I finally feel like I'm getting settled in even though there are still multiple organization things I need to take care of b/f I'll feel all 'moved in'. In our last place, it took me almost a year--hopefully i'll be done by Christmas (getting all our pics hung on the wall will be a good marker of progress). It's so fun living close to Jared's family-we love it! Also, last weekend we were able to drive up to Austin and see my sister Julie and her family. It was loads of fun (check out her blog for more details). I found the cord that connects my camera to my computer and have pictures for everyone finally! The album is not organized at all and spans the last three months with events including but not limited to: Jared's graduation, Lindsey's first rice cereal, and other random stuff. I hope you enjoy! Look for more regular posts again! Oh-and I want to share a quote I saw the other day--I saw it on a t-shirt that I ALMOST bought everyone for Christmas! Anyway, just remember, I'm only quoting:

"You may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas." --Davy Crockett

Good thing we are both already in Texas!!! :) I love all the pictures- she always looks adorable. I love the pics of the flower headband at graduation time!!!! And is that your apartment in Houston where you are feeding Lindsey her first food? Or in Utah or where???

it's in our apartment. someday-when everything gets put away and stuff, i'll put up pics (or you can come visit it but for those less close, less fortunate folks, i'll do pics!)

Okay we will definitely come visit! I like the chair rail and the multi colors... sheesh our walls were always stark white in apartments. :)

The quote has always been a favorite of us Texans (and former Texans). Of course, the wisdom behind the quote must be tempered by the fact that he dies at the Alamo, hopefully with no second thoughts about the relative virtues of visiting texas or hell.

And thanks for the pictures! Glad to hear things are going great.
