Quick Update

...and then there was one (one animal left, that is) :-( This week is a sad week at the Oehring house. After MUCH deliberation, we decided it was time to find our pug, Sandie,
and our cat, General Jack Thunder (aka Jack)
new homes. (For details on the reasons, you may speak to me personally or via email). Anyway, it was a hard thing to do-we loved them SOOOOO much. But, hopefully they'll both be happier for it. Jack went to a loving family with a 6yr old boy and he took to their house right away. We found a Pug Rescue for Sandie and it was the best choice (people who were interested in her were weird!). You can check it out at http://www.pughearts.com They were So nice and we'll be able to get updates about her through the website or their email. I cried a lot this week. Later, I will be doing a photo tribute to them both that you will have to look at (at least to humor my mourning). Maverick is a little lonely but has become my shadow around the house-and occasionally in the car or jogging. We loved them both and wish them happy, fun lives!! If you have any memories of them you'd like to share, please do :-)

Oh, hon, I'm so sorry to hear about them. I know how hard it is to lose a member of your family like that; we lost our other cat Biscuit in September (she passed away). You did the best you could for them. *HUG*

Sad! I love how shy Jack was, and house lazy. The first time I learned he was only about one year old I was shocked...I thought for sure he was old and chubby and feeble! :-) Sweet boy. Then there was the hole digging...but was that Sandy or Maverick?

I'm sure that must have been hard for you. But I'm really glad that you were able to find them great new homes where they can continue to be well cared for and loved.
