Seriously, I had a different child today. It was an ANGEL from heaven!! She was the best child all morning! She didn't get grumpy, she ate her food, played with her toys by herself, spontaneously told me 'thank you' and gave me a hug for giving her breakfast and lunch. She got a little whiny at one point and put herself in time out in her room (went in and closed her door...sometimes we do) and came out with toys to play with and a big smile on her face. When I told her it was time for nap, she carried her toys back to her room (we don't even usually clean up before nap) and got herself into her bed!! And again, told me 'thank you' for reading her books. WOW. If motherhood was like this everyday, EVERYONE would do it and we would learn nothing b/c there would be no struggles. It's a nice break though. I don't like to learn too much everyday :-)

That's awesome. I love days like that. Makes you wonder what the lucky variable is that triggered the good behavior, doesn't it?
