Halloween 2009

I'm so behind on posts I want to do it's not even funny! So, before Thanksgiving comes and goes, at least I'll get Halloween up! We had a blast and were glad to get out b/c Lindsey had been sick Thursday and Friday but was better in time for trick-or-treating with Grandma.

Waiting to go trick-or-treating. I remember Halloween day was so boring b/c I just wanted it to be nighttime!

My little pumpkin! He's actually wearing a (clean) dog costume that
Vickie had already, and I'm glad I didn't spend money on a costume b/c he
promptly fell asleep and slept in the stroller all evening.

My little poodle :) Threw this costume together with remnants from another-think it turned out pretty cute. Lindsey caught on to trick-or-treating after about 4 houses, and my favorite part of the evening was this: she was hauling that little green pumpkin full of candy and it was getting heavy for her and would bounce off her leg/drag on the ground. But, after every house she'd look inside and proclaim "There's not enough candy" Then, walking up to one house, she said to her bag "Come on candy. You can make it"
We also did pumpkins and had a halloween party at home Fri night since L had been sick and we missed our ward party.

Hope everyone had a safe, fun Halloween! Check me out on facebook for more photos that I put there of our Halloween adventures!

Okay, LOVE Lindsay's costume... adorable!! Did you say you made that?! Talented lady!! We missed you at the ward party, but glad she is feeling better!

well, 'made' is a little misleading. It used to be a little baby poodle outfit that I got a couple years ago. I cut it apart, reshaped some pieces, and got her outfit.

I love the look on Lindsey's face when she is 'smiling' in her costume. Lizzie does that exact same look when I ask her to smile for a picture. And their little Evans mouths look so similar!
