December Happenings

For FHE a couple weeks ago, we built a gingerbread house.

Of course, all the fun was in eating candy and frosting.

You wouldn't BELIEVE if I told you it SNOWED in Houston, but it did and here's some pics. (didn't stick though) That morning it was barely coming down and when we went to the car Lindsey was crying because she was getting snowed on. But that afternoon, it really started coming down more and she was thrilled. Even composed a song about it :) My little musician!

Maverick has gotten wimpy since Utah winters and did not enjoy it one bit!

Last, but not least, Jared took a day off work and we all went to the Blue Bell Ice Cream factory in Brenham-they're not open on the weekends so this was Jared's chance to get there! It was a blast, of course. They are the 3rd largest ice cream company in the US and are only in 19 states right now. They are also closed on the weekends-which includes the Sabbath, so that's a plus in our books :) Really-the best ice cream.
