Lindsey's party: the after-party

Ah, the after-party! Presents-opened. Cake and ice cream-eaten. Time to relax!
We spent the evening in the backyard visiting and playing.

Not so sure about grass, especially this pokey Texas grass!

The best part of the evening? A beautiful, impromtu serenade by the birthday girl. She sang and sang forever-just made-up songs about her party and whatnot. Even our neighbors had to poke their heads over to see what the occasion was! Her face is so expressive!
