We went whale watching, and it was really fun. I'm a big fan of taking Dramamine. Melissa wants me to note that she did not take it, and she was fine. I have no idea how I would have felt, but I didn't want to take the chance. Alisa unfortunately found out that the bracelets sold to prevent motion sickness do not work very well (at least for pregnant women). We got out of the San Diego Bay and almost immediately saw a whale, and then we saw another. For the next hour or so we followed behind them. We also saw a huge pod of Pacific White Sided Dolphins. Most of them were feeding, but several came over to swim with our ship. In the bay itself there were tons of sea lions. One of my favorite things were the two nuclear powered aircraft carriers in port: the Nimitz and the Ronald Reagan. Also there was a Naval Officer training a dolphin to search for mines and anything like that which doesn't belong anywhere near the hull of a ship. We had a great time. As soon as we get back to Provo, look for a new picture album with lots of new pics.
