Wow-I remember when Lindsey was born, thinking about her being 5 someday seemed so far away and so old! And yet, here we are already! Birthday celebrations always end up spanning a few days!
First, Grandma took her to the Disney store to pick out her own presents. She got a jewelry box and Rapunzel flip-flops.
The morning of her birthday we let her open a present from Grammy and Grandpa.
Another year in a row, I let Lindsey help decorate her cake since I think that makes her happier than the actual cake.
FYI, Justin is two :)
Lindsey chose to have her birthday at Chuck E. Cheese instead of having a friend party. She's been waiting to have her birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese for almost a year!
Back to the house for presents. We were happy Uncle Kyle could be here with us.
Lindsey's present from us? A swing set!! It has proven to be fun and a good choice!
We made sure to keep Justin far away from her cake this year so we didn't have a repeat from last year where he blew out her candles first!
The last request of the birthday girl? A rousing game of Duck, Duck, Goose.
Happy Birthday to a special girl!!
