Special Thank You to Mom & Dad Oehring

Melissa and I wanted to send a special thank you out to my parents for the birthday presents they sent us. This past Saturday we received a huge package. Melissa didn't know who it was from, so she opened it up. Inside were a really nice dehydrator and waffle iron. Mom and Dad, thank you. We have already used both and love them. We got your voice mail saying that the package had B-day presents, but it was two days too late.

I am starting to not like the birthday thing as much. I realized last year that I was a quarter of a century old. This year at 26 seems even worse. It seems like 30 is around the bend. I remember when I was in high school that anyone who was 30 was OLD. Now that is almost me. I am going to stop getting older at 29. After that whenever someone asks how old I am, I'll answer 29. That will be the end of the road for me. Nope I refuse to pass over to the three-oh. The only benefit that I see to getting older is that you can afford bigger, better presents. Since we are both still in school, the bigger, better presents thing is out. It is just not worth it. I'm digging in my heels. I'm going against the grain. The rest of you can keep on getting older, slowly dying a minute at a time, but I refuse to be a cut flower just waiting to wilt. I'm defying Father Time. I am staying right were I am, and nobody can move me!
