Summer is fast approaching an end, and I am dreading going back to school. I love working. I am providing a service and helping the company. I love that. Plus I get paid for my work. I am part of a team, and my boss and co-workers appreciate my contributions (and I theirs).
School is not like that at all. I love learning, but I hate school. At school, you pay to do the work. The teacher is in charge even though you are paying for the class. They set the rules. They make the tests. They determine your grade. In the end, if you didn't like the class or the teacher there is no refund, only a final to punish you for giving the university your money.
The biggest redemption about the upcoming school year is that I will finally be finishing my undergrad work. I know. I know. I took long enough to do it, but hey it wasn't my fault. The doctors told me I might die. Another good thing about this year is that I finally get to do my capstone project which will be much more hands on than my other classes.
Here are my classes for anyone who cares:
Elements of Electrical Engr
Mechanical Sys Dsgn Fundmntls
Applications of Fluid Dynamics
Internal Combustion Engines
Integrated Prodct&Proc Desgn 1
