Okay, I know that this post is a little late. Melissa made Jello eggs for Easter, and they were really fun. We didn't have one of those special egg shaped molds, so she used real eggs to make our Jello ones. Here are some photos of my imaginative chef at work.

That's pretty cool! What flavors and how did they turn out? Was it hard to get them to retain their shapes?
I believe that she did strawberry and blueberry. You crack a hole in the top of the egg and shake out the egg (It is better to NOT blow it out. The second hole causes problems). Then just pour the hot jello into the egg. You can also use the recipe for jigglers if you want the Jello eggs more firm. They hold their shape really well. It is fun to crack the egg and out comes a perfect red Jello egg.
YUM! And too cute! What a great idea! I will have to try it next year (or even sometime soon) because Seth would love it!
I'm thinking that these are not the eggs one would choose to hide around the house, or out in the yard...
