So, I love getting my girl an Easter dress every year. But, this year I didn't and so I decided to try and make a little jumper. I've never done that before and I didn't have a pattern-just tried to copy another jumper of hers, so it wasn't so bad. And, I used leftover material from the baby quilt I made her (3 years ago yesterday, happy birthday Lindsey, a birthday post later).
My house and kitchen ended up like this...
And this is what we got! Lindsey was THRILLED to have an Easter dress and was hounding me all day to finish it if I ever took a break! I like it okay. I learned I have NO IDEA how to do armholes or neck lines, and I can't fudge them very well either :) My final goal was no raw edges! Not a very high standard-I'll have to work on it more.

Way to go Melissa! It looks like you did a great job on the Easter Dress! The house, ah well, it'll clean up later. The kids, they looked like they were having a good time. All is well.
You are a great Mom!
Love you,
MOM O
You did a great job. The dress couldn't be any cuter and your thrifty nature is very impressive. We agree with MOM O that you are a wonderful mom to those darling little kids.
I think you did great... far better then I could ever do. :)
That is so adorable! Don't worry about the house...there's more important things anyway!!
